Digital Art ages 12 and up

(A Great Class for mini-entrepreneur students)

The perfect class for students who love art and computer graphics, participants will develop the skills to become creators, not just consumers, of digital media. this class will take students through different applications of art in the digital world, including but not limited to Graphic Design, Animation, Video Editing, Video Game Design, and other areas of commercial art as Screen Printing.  Students will learn to use professional programs as Photoshop, Moho Debut 12 (animation), Adobe 3D and other software for video editing, and stop motion.

September – Photoshop + Illustrator (Graphic Design application)

By the end of the month, students will be able to:

• Use basic tools, including layers, font option, and many other tools to create a Logo

• Add registrations and format for printing

• Save file with right format for printing

October –  Create a Design for a T-Shirt Using Illustrator + Photoshop

By the end of the month, students will be able to:

• Create a T-shirt design using Illustrator + Photoshop tools.

• Color separation theory in photoshop.

November – Screen Printing Process

By the end of the month, students will be able to:

• Learn  Color Separation using photoshop.

• Prepare screens with Emulsion exposer.

• Expose Screens.

December – Animation –  Create your own Christmas Greeting animation

By the end of the month, students will be able to:

•Learn the basics of Moho Studio

•Use bones to create a character

• Complete an animation.

January – Webdesign

By the end of the month, students will be able to:

•Register a domain and set up a page

•Learn about templates, widgets, and set up page. Create your own web page using templates

•Add pages and menus

• Complete a web page

February – Install a shopping cart on your website

By the end of the month, students will be able to:

• Install woo-commerce on web page using PayPal

•Add products on page

•Social media Share

March – Video Editing

• Create your own video

• Editing your video

•Saving your video in the right format for “Youtube”
